Appendix put a bump in the road! Running is my LIFE!

RUNNING! I have missed you in my life these past two weeks they've been rough but we made it through. I may of had to not run for two weeks but I am back and ready for anything. I even followed the  doctors orders about not running for two weeks hardest thing of my life!
For those of you that don't know I ended up in the ER on August 14th to have my appendix removed. I woke up with a pain in my side and worked all day because my supervisor told me he would appreciate if I didn't leave early I finished out the day went home got ready to usher the temple open house. Started crying my dad called the clinic they said take her to the ER its her appendix me being who I am and stubborn didn't go right off the bat. I finally decided at 8:30 when my dad got home from the temple we were going actually he said we were going so we went then 3 hours later I was in surgery and then in the hospital for the night.
The first thing I said to the doctor was are you Sunshine's friend he said yes I said okay you can take out my appendix (like I really had a choice in this matter.) Second thing I asked was when can I run again and he looked and me and said two weeks you got to wait until you are better I said but running is my life. Two weeks you will thank me later. I may only be able to run a mile this week but next week I can run three miles and next Saturday a 10k.
I have missed running in my life it has been a rough two weeks but I know it was for my benefit if I didn't run for two weeks. I am so glad that I have the ability to run and I can run again. I am so thankful that my appendix decided to come out the last week of summer and not the first week of school, I am so lucky to have the family I do they took care of me and moved me to school and never gave up on me even when I did!

What I learned this summer!

This summer I learned what a best friend really is. Not one who says hey best friend we will find time to get ice cream and not mean it. No that is not a best friend. Not one who says hey when you come down let me know and we can hang out never happens. Nope that is not a best friend either. I understand you get busy but stop making me promises that are never going to come true. Don't mess with my feelings anymore, I am done! I am not a door mat! I am awesome you may not see it but my real best friend does!
Real best friend just hugs you when you are in tears they say pull over its okay we are going to get through this not your its we! You can walk up and down main street and laugh. You can say dude I don't feel good and they say okay what can I do for you. You say I don't know you end up in the ER to have your appendix removed. I text you and say surgery you say I am on my way! Then they are at your house after work with your favorite things. Yup that is my best friend!
My best friend screams Jill I missed you and we run and hug. Then we laugh because we squeezed each other to tight.
My best friend never makes me promises they don't plan to keep. I can trust them and know that no matter what everything is safe with them. we laugh together we cry together. Call my best friend in tears she comes over no questions. We can sit in the car and not say one word to each other and then we just start laughing together. Yup that is a best friend!
Not some one who makes promises and breaks them. Nope someone who truly cares. They don't even care what you look like they just say hey I am coming to get you and you go. Yup that is a best friend!
When you move away your best friend is the one who text you when your favorite song comes on, then you sing along to it and life is good.
Finding a best friend is hard to do! But I am sure glad I have my best friends! I love you Branae and Morgan and Kortney! Love my girls!!!
Valuable lesson I learned on main street while weeding! You know you have a best friend when they change there plans to be with you.
Lesson learned until next time I am going on another adventure not to far. But soon! Peace out cub scout!

Best Friends

There are many different kind of Best Friends. You have the one that knocks on your door at 9:51  in the morning right when you get your hair done, asking you what you are doing today. Then you say I do not know what do you want to do then it goes back and forth for 30 seconds. Then all of the sudden you look at each other and say VEGAS?! Yup lets go you put pants on and out the door you go. Then we did not tell anyone we were going but her dad. Way to be spontaneous!!
You have the best friend who will come over to your house anytime day or night just to see you. If they have a bad day they come over and you say who do you want me to kill. Or they just come over because they are bored. You may not say one word to each other but that is okay because you can feel their love and that is all that matters.
Then you have Best Friend! You are walking on campus and they just scream hey best friend and you do not even have to think about who it is because it is best friend! You can text them anytime of day and always get a reply even if it is something dumb. They will move from a table with their friends to sit with you to make you feel like you matter. They make you laugh your face off and when you are done laughing you look at each other and start again and then your face hurts from laughing. Oh I love having a best friend.You can complain to them and they do not care. They will always be best friend forever. We may go separate ways but at least I know I will always have best friend. You always know that no matter what best friend with take 5 minutes out of their day just to see how you are. They send you a text when you are feeling blue they don't even know but it turns the whole day around. People get mad because you have best friend numbered but I have best friend who will always be number one.
You can have many best friends some will stay in your life forever and some won't but the ones that stay are the ones who have made the biggest impact on your life.

My Last Nerve

It is only Wednesday and my last nerve was pulled and it is only 7:31 in the morning. You can steal my stuff but I can only take it so long. My parents raised me better than that I am not going to steal your things I should but I have more respect for you than you ever had for me. You treat me like a doormat and like I am worthless but let me tell you something honey I am awesome! I have a dream and I am making it come true.I am getting an education.
I love Best friend Kyle, Mason and Eric. They are so funny. They come to my house and visit. They make me laugh I love those gentlemen!
I tell my mom I have no clothes to wear and it is an email she expects because I get this way every April no joke she told me to go buy a new out fit so I did $41.44 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts who is a bargain shopper this girl!
My best friend in the whole widest world is taking her test today to get her licence wish her luck.
I am going to run away be back before finals no worries. Going on an adventure until next time run jump and be free! Remember people are stupid sometimes and you may never understand them. Today my last nerve was errked because I didn't have any clean dishes so I couldn't eat breakfast who ever used them is going to be very upset because I didn't eat breakfast and that's a bad sign!

Why Yes I do know that thanks for that?

Today was an adventure in the life of Jill. Everyday is but today was one in particular. I went to school like any other day but today I had to go to the advisement office to talk to this lady. Don't talk to me like i am stupid I do know I have a D in biology thanks for stating the obvious! I have talked to my professor don't you worry your little heart about it. What a Moron?  It doesn't pay to rattle my cage!
Ask Amazon!  Talking about amazon I have a kindle that worked for 3 months and I wrote the CEO Jeff Bezo about how I was very upset about my kindle and his customer service. I got a new kindle and now when i call the customer service people are nice to me. Don't call me a liar or you will be very sorry ask the guy at Amazon. Needless to say I got a new kindle after 30 phone calls and jumping through their hoops. I finally got a new kindle yes it struggled but it now works great it is so good to finally have a kindle that works. I went running it was great fun!
Went to dinner with some roommates that was fun I am sitting next to my best friend Branae Abbott and she is screaming at someone on the phone because they are being dumb. He shouldn't of started to argue with her she will win.

The Joys of Fridays!!!

Oh the joys of Friday! My cousin comes home from his mission today so happy for him and his family.

I went to school History was great fun no joke my teacher is hilarious, he had cookies for us in honor of a dead historian Howard Zinn. He always has a cart with hot chocolate, coffee and tea on it. Biology was good took a test and it went really well. Walked home from school with the neighbor kid. The most polite and respectful kid we walked and chit chatted. He was so funny.

Came home and went running! I love to run! I decided today I should run earlier in the day so no one sees me. Brother and Sister Beard honked at me. My best friend waved at me oh it was great! I am crazy but that's who I am!

Had mashed potatoes for lunch with my Best Friend Kim! I even fixed my skirt.

Then I went to class and the funniest thing happened I passed a friend and his brother and his brother was like why are you going to school you could be selling crack cocaine and making more money that is true but then if I was doing that I wouldn't be me. As I walk to class laughing my teacher is talking about rocks and say schist. Then I am laughing harder! Gotta love physics class.

Watching the neighbor kids skateboard is the funniest thing ever!

I even got a letter today! Can you say HELLO weekend HELLO fun! Loving Life! Until next time I am going on another adventure!

Half Marathons

Rain Rain go away I want to run in the SUNSHINE! Rain you didn't scare me rain or shine I am running never forget it!
I ran my second half marathon today without my cheering squad. That was okay because I didn't want to make them stand out in the rain. It was the St. George Half. I met a familiar face there and she said "I didn't think I would see a face I knew" I said oh yes, she proceed to ask me questions and I was like I live here now she was like I must of missed that I was like no worries. She is one wise lady, she gave me this advice before she left my side. She said "I don't run to be competitive I run to finish the race." I realised today that it doesn't matter some races are better than others but no matter what to my cheering section I am always first. I then proceeded to run and get muddy and have fun. Running is fun and games until mud gets involved then it is war to see who gets most muddy.

Once I finished and found my hoodie in a puddle I proceeded to go home I got a text from my best friend that said "Good Luck Best Friend I wish I could be there." Oh I know she would of been if she didn't have to work. We got my iPod ready for the race last night and this morning she sent me just running.

I am pretty sure that won't be my last half but at least for today it will. Running is fun and games always. The first eight miles easy the ninth and tenth get tricky once you hit ten you only got a 5k left and that is nothing!

Running is one of the best thing that has ever happened to me! I am so glad that I started when I was a freshman in high school because I wouldn't be running without it.
