Running is a choice to become Healthy

Running is a choice to become healthy

Think about running as a way to become physically fit. It helps the obese people get in shape they start out walking and work their way up to running slowly but surely. In Las Vegas Nevada they have a walking marathon that you can only walk not run. You can read about the walking marathon in the read Reader’s Digest.

You don’t have to have a love of walking or running to do a marathon. If you just want to push your children in a stroller you can do that as well. Pushing your child in a stroller gets them excited about running or walking a marathon as well. Just get out and get active and may be a half marathon or full marathon isn’t for you but it is for some people.

You may think running is death. I hope I have opened your eyes to see running in a different way then you ever expect to. Running may seem like death to you but it’s really not. Go out and try it you might be surprised you might come to love running like I have. If running a marathon isn’t on your bucket list that’s okay but go out and give running a try. Don’t be a couch potato forever. Show people what you are made of. Runners have legs of steel. That is something I truly believe you may not but don’t dis it till you try it.

Running is a wonderful thing give, it a chance to help you and your life. If you do you won’t then you will never know what you are missing out one. Shall we go run a marathon?

Anyone can run or help someone run

Anyone can run or help someone run.

The marathon industry is huge it is a billion dollar industry. Some people run for family and friends, others run to prove to themselves that they can do it, some run for charity which is really awesome because they care enough about others to go and help out someone who is less fortuned then they are. Or maybe it is the dad that runs with his son who is in a wheelchair and that means the world to that kid. Here is that story for those of you who haven’t heard it.

This story is a great motivator. It shows you that anyone can run even if you are in a wheelchair, anything is possible. It helped me realize that no matter what you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it.

Dick and Rick Hoyt have been running, competing and inspiring for 25 years. Father Dick has pushed, pulled and ridden with son Rick, born with cerebral palsy, in more than 900 events, including Ironman triathlons. Monday marked their 25th Boston Marathon. Before the race, the Boston Athletic Association awarded "Team Hoyt" the Patriots' Award, honoring inspirational New Englanders. At the finish line, father and son cruised through a custom ribbon. "(Rick) loved it," says Dick, 65, proud that he and Rick, 44, never have finished last. "He tried real hard to get his arms in the air, but I zigzagged across the road to show the crowd how much we appreciated it. It was really great." The Hoyts started racing in 1979 when Rick learned of a race honoring a Westfield (Mass.) College lacrosse player who was paralyzed in a car accident. Rick, who communicates through a special computer, told his father he wanted to show that life goes on and asked his father to enter the race with him. The duo finished second to last in the 5-mile race. That night Rick wrote, "When I'm running it feels like my disability disappears." Maryland chiropractor Larry Herman says he hopes many experience that same exhilarating feeling April 30 at the Frederick (Md.) Marathon, where relay teams of four to 10 individuals are volunteering to push more than a dozen people in wheelchairs for the 26.2 miles. "When I met Rick and Dick Hoyt, it was like meeting one of your heroes," says Herman, who attended Monday's race to cheer the family. Bobbye Beall was skeptical when Herman suggested her 28-year-old son, Lucas, who has severe retardation, cerebral palsy and is blind, participate. "I kept wondering what this is for, what cause is this going to," Beall says. Then she remembered the days when the family lived on a farm, where Lucas loved rides on the swing and tractor or being pulled in a wagon by his brother. She remembered how his face lit up with excitement. She understood. "The only cause is to give wheelchair-bound people the joy of feeling the wind in your face," says Beall, who will push her son for part of the race. "The more I think about it, the more excited I am." (Esfarjani)

Spectator Tips

Some of my fans! Good Luck Kisses for me!

Spectator Tips

What spectators need to know and how they can help make running a marathon successful. Have signs and cheer them on let your runner know that you love them and are proud of them. You are part of the reason they choose to run because they wanted you to be proud of them. Stand by the finish line so the runners know that you are routing for them. It gives them the last boost of energy they need to finish the race and they give it all they got. Make sure you are prepared for any kind of weather and know that the water stations aren’t for you but the runners. Bring your own bottle water and snacks to keep you tied over until your runner has finished the race. Respect the course stay off of it! It is for the runners not you (Luff).

Don’t get in the runners way they have already been running for hours and they are tired and you are in there way it will end up bad for the both of you so do yourself a favor and the runner and stay off the course until everyone is finished. Find a spot that looks like it is going to be really hard and stand there and cheer them on. There is always one spot in the course that is the worst and when people are standing there it makes the world of difference to the runners to hear people cheering them on, seeing people with sign and their loved ones waiting for the. (Luff).

Don’t be one of those people who yell and scream “You are so close” or “Not too far left” only say things like that if you are at the finish line. Pick an encouraging phrase like “You’re amazing” or “Keep it up.” Don’t tell them how much farther they have unless you know for certain because then it just makes it harder for the runner (Luff).

Make sure you know what your runner is wearing from head to toe. It is going to be crowed it is easier to pick out someone wearing a yellow shirt then a black one. Make sure you make a meeting spot with your runner so they know where to find you after the race. Make sure they know how proud of them you are. Timing is everything; find out what time they want to accomplish. Help them achieve it by helping them know where they stand on time when they are running. (Luff)

The last few miles of the marathon might be the worst pain you ever feel compared to childbirth. You just have to keep going and never give up. You have made it so far so why quit now? That is the real question. Running a marathon is misery to a non-runner they don’t understand why you would want to pay 80 dollars to run a race or to wake up at 5 am to be to the start line by 7. Non-runners may never understand the joys of running a marathon.

Running for Fun and Game

Running for fun and games

Running a marathon isn’t just fun and games it is tough business. You have to be fully prepared and know what you want to accomplish. You have to believe in yourself to accomplish something like that. Running a half marathon isn’t easy but it isn’t as tough at a full but it is still rough. You have just got to keep your head up and go. Never give up your dreams no matter what even if you feel like it is too hard just keep moving forward and don’t let anyone tell you, that you can’t do it.

Running a half marathon is better for some people but full marathons are better for other people. It just really depends who you are and how much motivation and determination you have. Quotes always help runners out. It gives them a little boost of confidence. It may seem so simple but a quote is what keeps you going.

What to do the day before your big race? Rest and make sure you get plenty of carbs and fats so you will be ready for tomorrow. Stay hydrated and don’t eat any unusual food don’t try something new eat what you would normally eat, but make sure it has lots of carbs. Don’t overdo it, you don’t need to go to the spend tons of time at the clinics; eat the free samples they have a packet pick up. Try to stay off of your feet as much as possible just still live your life like you would normally. "Don’t do anything out of routine before your race because that will throw your routine off. Make sure your toenails are trimmed and well groomed yes that sounds funny but you don’t want them to be digging in your running shoes the whole time and making you feel like your stubbing your toes. Just relax and watch a movie or TV show that inspires you" (Constello).

Training is Important

Training is Very Important

Why is training so important? It is important to train your muscles so you don’t pull anything or break anything. You must know what you are doing. Running isn’t easy. You have to work at it like you have to work at anything in life. If you don’t train right you can ruin the experience of running. I know this because when I was a senior in high school I ran cross country and track. I tore the ligaments in my right foot in the first race of track season. It was no fun, because senior year is a big deal. I didn’t think I did anything bad to my foot, it just hurt badly. The next day it was swollen really badly and I went to school and walked on it. I went and saw the doctor and he told me that I tore my ligaments I was devastated. He told me I couldn’t run for three weeks and I was like “No, I have to run its senior year.” I didn’t run for two weeks if I would have waited the extra week like I should of I wouldn’t be having to so many problems with my foot now. I learned through this experience if you listen to the doctors and let your muscles heal you will be better off than if you don’t. It may not ruin the rest of your life but you may not be able to accomplish everything you planned because you didn’t train right. You need to know what your limits are, that is something that you have to learn while you’re training. Make your training fun because if you don’t it is going to seem like a burden and some days you may not want to but you just go out and do it and you feel so much better about yourself and life you’ll even have more energy.

Pros and Cons of Running

Pros and Cons of Running

Pros of running a full marathon and not a half. Running a full marathon is harder than a half and is more demanding because you have to train harder than you have ever trained before. You just have to keep your mind on something else besides the pain. It hurts to run, yes, but once you have accomplished something like that you are more likely to do it again to improve your time and show people that you are made of steel.

Pros of running a half marathon. You have become one with the road and one with your shoes. You have more patience than you realize you have. Shorter less demanding there are more half marathons than marathons. They are easier to set up for and get everybody ready for.

Cons of running a full and not a half marathon. No matter what you are going to be super sore the next day and not want to move. You need to allow yourself to have recovery time and not just go back and run the next day. That is really bad for your muscles and your body. You may not think it is but it hurts you more in the long run. You tear more muscles that way then if you let them recover.

Cons, you can’t say that you ran a full marathon but you just ran 13.1. It’s not as long and not as hard as a full. It will still make you sore if you didn’t train right for it.

Running a half marathon is more interesting to some people because it is more fun because you can enjoy the scenery more and don’t have to worry about the next 13.1 miles. You finish faster than you would of a full. Yes it is shorter and it is much easier to train for. You still have to train hard but you don’t have to kill yourself in training. You have to make sure you are ready to run because if you’re not that could lead to serious injury and could cause some serious damage not only to your body, but your ego as well. Running a half marathon is where you should start then work your way up to running a full. It is more than an accomplishment; it is a goal or dream fulfilled.

You need to know what you are getting yourself into, so you can train efficiently so you don’t end up with some serious injury. If you get hurt while in training for your half marathon you need to slow down and let yourself heal first before you go out at full pace. It takes a while to heal yes, but you will be so glad and so excited once you are all healed.

Why do People like to Run?

Wonder Why People Run?

You are probably wondering why people like to run marathons and half marathons. Some people think it is death but others just love to do it. Shall we go find out why people love to run 13.1 or 26.2 joyful miles in a row.

“The first marathon ever ran in Ancient Greece killed the guy.” (Padlan) So why are people willing to risk it? Well here we go!

It is more than just a sport; it is a lifestyle that you choose. Running is a way to become one with the world you can become free and you get to know yourself. While running you can listen to music or you can think about things that are bugging you and figure them out in your head and make everything work for you. It is a way to get away from everything for an hour or two and just have that time for you, or when you are sad, upset or even frustrated. It can become a lifestyle that will help you with your life in the future. "I decided to go on a little run." Forest Gump "There will be days when you think you can’t run a marathon. There is a lifetime knowing you have. Unknown (Runners Club)

There is more to running than you might ever think. You need to have good running shoes or you will cause yourself more grief and pain. There are many different brands that you can get from Asics, Nike even to Saucony. Some brands are better than another. The brand Brooks they aren’t the best and probably not the worst but they are not good for the ankles and if that is the case, they aren’t good for the feet. I have learned that through personal experience. Before you start you training find some good running shoes that fit your fancy. Make sure they suit your needs first. Running shoes come in many different colors. You can pretty much find shoes in your favorite color if you just look. Go to a running shoe store and they will help you and will set up a training schedule for you. They will help guide you while you work on accomplishing your goals. Not only in this marathon but in future ones as well. They are there to help you in any way they can.

Facebook helps make goals because once you make them on Facebook you never want to give up on that goal because everybody will keep asking you until you do it. Your own peers are a great way to keep you motivated as well. It may be a 26.2 grueling journey but it is quite an accomplishment. "Facebook isn’t the only reason you run a marathon." Maybe it was a childhood dream or just a recent one. Or maybe your family members, friends, or even idols have ran one and have given you the desire to do one as well. (Webley)

Facebook is a major thing in helping people decide if they want to run a marathon because you read about what your friends are doing and then you want to do it as well. I read about this guy who has run three and half marathons and is 45 pounds lighter than he was before. Now he is going back to his hometown to run that marathon. “He couldn’t be happier with the choice that he has made to run.” (Webley)

Now let’s talk about getting the right nutrition that you need to run this joyful run. Fuel on the fat for the long run. You need to train your fat engines so you can be ready for your marathon. You need to make sure you have fed them so you can accomplish your goal. Carbohydrates and fats are very important in your diet during training for you marathon or half marathon. "You must teach your body to rely on the fats, and train it and not just decide one day and go run, because you might not make it to the end and that would be very bad" (Schulman).

Now should we find out why people go to watch the runners cross the finish line? I surveyed some people and I got many different answers, but one was to see how many people finish and how many puke at the end of the race. Some people think that it is really cool to see elderly ladies and men cross the finish line. This one girl said, “I like to see how many people actually finished and passed out at the end.” Those made me wonder why people like to see other people’s pain and don’t do anything to help them. It frustrated me how a few people said they just liked to see how sweaty people are at the end. I know that runners get sweaty and nasty even after half marathons. It’s not just a cup of tea if you aren’t sweaty then you didn’t run hard enough. There is more to running than getting sweaty. For real people they are going to be sweaty after running 13.1 or 26.2 miles, it’s a part of life.

Run a Marathon or a Half Marathon that is the Question

Run a Marathon or a Half Marathon that is the Question

There are many different parts to running a marathon. It’s physically demanding, including extensive training. Mental thinking is a big contributor to running. You need to have the will power to think you can and never give up. You need to have the motivation to actually do it and not be afraid of the miles that you are going to run. Emotional mind set is a big part of running as well. Running is a way to get out anger or sadness or to just get away from the world for a while.

It doesn’t matter if you are fat, skinny, or just average anyone can run if they just set their mind to it. You don’t have to have a love for running or for walking. If you just have a goal to do a marathon you can if you just set your mind to it. Running a marathon takes a lot out of you. You’re going to be very sore the next day and may not want to move. But if you think about it, it is quite the accomplishment. Or maybe it was just a recent goal that you set.

Follow Your Dreams

Don’t let anyone hold you back. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. That is the worst thing you can ever do. I have done that it the past. I may not be the fastest runner in the world but at least I am out there doing it. I ran Cross Country when I was in high school. I love to listen to the people who ask my mom why she makes me run, my mom’s reply was always, “I am not. She is doing it for her and to prove you people wrong that even a fat chick can run.” I was never a runner before I used to dread it when my P.E. teacher was like we are going to run the mile I would always be so afraid because I was slow. In ninth grade something inside of me changed the way I looked at life. I heard of people running marathons and I wanted to be one of those people, so I started to run. I never thought the day would come that I could run a half marathon and not stop and run the whole thing, it made me sore but that was a given. I was the slowest person on the team but no one ever cared we worked together to make everyone better. I came in last every race but I never once cared because I was always first at my house. Someone had to be last so why not be me? It takes a stronger person to be last than first. By the time I was a senior in high school I showed many team members’ moms what it was like to run no matter what shape or size you are. Anyone can do it if they put their mind to it and go for it. You may not want to run a marathon or just aren’t ready but know that anyone can do it if you just try.

Ready get set go!

Why Run a Marathon?

Doing this survey taught me many things. I learned that not everyone has had a dream since they were little to run a marathon. It also showed me how many people have run marathons and loves them. I learned how many people love to watch marathon runners and why.

One of my favorite answers to why do you like to watch a runner run was because… I love to see the ones that push themselves so hard and puke at the end. Not that I like to watch people puke but to see the pure joy on their face after they have done it and how happy they are that they have finished.

Second favorite one was you people look like death. I never would of guessed that we look like death. They just ran 26.2 miles of pure joy. Of course they are going to look hot and sweaty and like death but who isn’t? For real people!

Third is I just wanted to see how many people finish and how long it takes them. That answer made me angry because not everyone was born a runner some people work really hard to accomplish things. It doesn’t matter if you are first or last or in the middle of the pack you have joy of saying I finished and there is a lot of satisfaction in that! The cheering at the end of the finish line is the best part of running because you see people who think you’re crazy but are there to cheer you on and they are glad it’s you and not them.

This survey taught me a lot about my topic and how to pursue it. It made me relies that some people don’t have the same dream as me and others do. I also learned some crazy reasons why people watch marathon runners run as well.

People with disabilities in school!

I interviewed one of my favorite people his name is Henry for privacy reasons. This is the only picture I have.

Diagnosis: Hearing Impaired almost Deaf

What difficulties have occurred in the school setting?

He has had hearing aids since he was thirty four. That teacher’s didn’t believe that he couldn’t hear. He told me a story about when he was in kindergarten the teacher got mad at him because he didn’t answer the question which she asked him. For starters she didn’t even believe that he couldn’t hear. My grandma went in with him and talked to her and told her but she still didn’t really even care. So my grandma took him out of school for that year and put him in the next year with a different teacher that actually cared. This teacher took time to understand him.

How the school addressed the needs of the student?

Once they finally started understanding that he couldn’t hear they gave the teachers microphones that would go to his hearing aid so he could hear it better. They also talked slower so he could read lips he is a pro at that. They finally started to understand that some kids need help in some areas, they had him in speak therapy as well because he can’t say his R’s, they have worked with him. Now he is a successful business man. He still can’t hear very well but it can do anything that a hearing person can.

What could the school do to better meet the needs of students?

First off I think they should listen to the parents and the students and not be rude about it. I think they can provide a positive environment even though some students are different. Don’t single them out just let them join in with the others in class.

What advice would the student give to a new teacher?

Tell them that he needs to sit close to the front so he can hear and read their lips better. Also that he just wants to be treated like any other kid in the class and not like some project like some teachers make students there project. Just be straight up honest and tell her that he can’t hear very well.

I wish teachers would care more about their students to help them out and not be so rude like they were to this man.

Will They Make Me Run Faster?!

Will They Make Me Run Faster?!

When I was much younger than I am now, I thought fancy named things would make me look fancier or better. I learned that clearance racks can do the trick. My uncle even says that when he wore Converse shoes, as a “little kid”, it made it run faster and play better basketball. So I am now fast forwarding to my freshman year of High School. I decided to run with the Cross Country Team. I had never run before and started out running in my most comfortable well worn tennis shoes thinking they would do the job. They were Fila’s with yellow shoe laces—I thought I could run a whole season in these shoes. Um not so much----

My coach suggested that I should purchase some running, running shoes. My mom agreed with him. She even told me to not to worry about the cost, only the fit. She said this because my feet would be pounding the pavement more than a mile or two---So our adventure starts on my journey to find the running shoes that would make me run faster---would it be converse like my uncle talked about or some other brand entirely ---I needed to know what would make me run faster.

I discovered that at the running shoe store there were shoes brands for A to Z. Yikes!!!! What shoes would make me run faster? Would it be the Asics Brand or one that starts with Z.? Luckily the store we were at only went to the letter S and that was enough shoes for me to wonder which was the faster brand.

I tried on several—I learn that there were different ranks of running shoes, neutral being the one that supposedly would make be the fastest I could be. I tried on 5 different brands and chose ASICS for my freshman year of high school. They were lime green, black, white and kind of mesh. I never ate asphalt in those shoes they served me well in many miles of running.

I retired them and they became my lawn mowing shoes. They once again served me well with the miles of walking behind the lawn mower, that I had loving called Chester for 10 years of my lawn mowing career. You see I have been mowing lawns for people since I was about 9 with my dad at my side helping me. I just recently had to send them to their final resting place.

My not so favorite brand of running shoes would be BROOKS. I did try to run a season of both track and cross country in them but they made me run SLOWER NOT FASTER. Not only that they made my ankles swell at least 10 sizes bigger than they are meant to be--- the lesson learned with this pair that not all brands live up to “If you buy me you will run faster.” Brooks even made me mow slower!!!

I am currently running and training for a half marathon in a pair of shoes with the brand name of SAUCONY. I am liking these shoes. The only problem I am having with them is that my little toe on my left foot is trying to branch out and see the world. I think I might even run faster in my upcoming half marathon.

I have discovered with running shoes that people do buy them thinking that they will run faster but instead of thinking that way they buy spring loaded to have a faster take off. I have also discovered that avid runners always have the best they can find running shoe---they are pounding the pavement and it is the shoe that protects them from all the stickers that come along the way and THEY REALLY DO MAKE YOU RUN FASTER!!!

I HATE BLOGGING!

This is how I feel about blogging! I would rather Shoot myself than blog!

Blog or Not to Blog

To blog or not to blog is the question! What are the pros and cons of blogging? Yes it may be easier for the teacher to grade, but some people don’t like to use computers that much and may not have one and having to sit somewhere for a million hours just to pass a class. Or having to register your blog to some website to just get credit for being in the class I think that is flat out ridiculous.

Blogging is a good resource then people can read it okay the whole world can read it because it is on the web. You can add to it whenever you want you don’t have to worry about printing something off to hand in or having a hard copy. You just have to worry about submitting the URL online. Yes not putting your assignment in the comment box unless you want your teacher to be mad at you. It save ink on the pictures you have to put with it. It is also way easier to just put the pictures online then it is to print. It also makes more sense to do it that way. It may be harder but once you give it a chance and just have patience and learn to respect your teacher it is not too bad. Why don’t we just put it on Facebook that is the same as a blog am I wrong. It is more helpful to the teacher then she doesn’t have to read 100 hard copies of papers for students. It is more fun for the other students because then they can blog stalk people and that is really what people do. You can’t tell me they don’t I am a Facebook stalker not going to lie!

Cons it takes too long and who wants to sit at a computer all day long just to blog. Blogging is really a waste of time.

Blogging may work for some people but it doesn’t work for everybody. Blogging is very useful yes. Positives about blogging in the life of Jill. I can see what is happening in my hometown with my young women leaders’ blog. I can also keep up to date on what’s happening with my best friend and her missionary, her “Two Years in Waiting” if you will. Or just reading funny things from people I used to know.

Blogging can be fun if you understand the concept of it then it is much easier. It is like running some people don’t understand why runners run. So why do bloggers blog? Is it because it helps them relieve stress and keep them sane. Does it help them find there happy place when things go wrong and they are ready to give up. It gives them a place to go and just write or type what they are feeling like when running you run faster if you’re mad or upset. Run slower if you’re sad. Blogging you write better when you’re excited and it makes more sense. When you’re upset it isn’t going to make very much sense at all. It is going to be jumbled and it is going to be angry just like you. But those are the times you write the best because you write what you are feeling and how you are feeling it.

Blogging can be fun if you let it. Don’t get mad because you have to do it just learn to love it. It is all in your head on how you are going to express your feelings about blogging. Blogging may not be for me and that’s okay to but it may be for you. Just go with it have fun and go with the flow. It’s not like a life or death situation even though that is how I thought it was but writing this paper about it has made more sense to me now on why we should blog.

Blogging saves time and trees! I am all for saving the trees. It also saves us poor college student’s money on buying paper and ink for our printers or having to pay the school a nickel every time we print something. That is a hassle because we have to go when they are opened and sometimes that just doesn’t fit with our schedules and then it makes us late for something else, like class or work.

Blogging is so stupid because you have to have patience for it. I guess learning patience is good because you need it in everything you do. Okay honestly the really reason I hate blogging is because it stresses me out. I worry about getting it in on time and what people are going to think about what I wrote but it shouldn’t really matter to me what others think about what I write because it doesn’t really even matter. I also don’t like the fact of how you have to set your blog up to look. Shouldn’t it be more of how you feel and what you want it to look like instead of having it the same as everyone else I am original and not like everyone else thank you. I also think that teachers should think about students who don’t have computers or may be computer dumb and not understand the blog process like me. But I don’t think that gives you the right to tell me that I won’t be successful in life because I will be. I will learn computers at my speed not at the speed you think I should learn it. Yes I will need computers in my life long goals but right now knowing how to type and Facebook is enough for the time being. I also don’t think that blogs should be necessary in being able to pass English 2010 in college. There is really no point to a blog but you are free to think what you want. That is just my opinion.

Community Part Two

I am going to tell you about running shoes! I love running shoes if you don’t have a good pair then you aren’t going to do very well in races or just running for fun. Let me tell you about some brands there are so many from A to Z. Let me tell you about some of my favorite brands one is Asics they make them in my favorite color, they make them in neutral which is what I need so I don’t eat the asphalt. The have a gel shock in the heal part so it helps your joints not get so sore, keeps you safe. They also make them in your school colors. You can go to a running shoe store to get them or you can get them somewhere else but if you get them at a running shoe store you know that they are going to work well for you. The running store people are so nice and loves helping you find some shoes that suit you. They want you to succeed in life and not get hurt. If you’re a student they also give you a 10% off.

Saucony is another favorite of mine. They are so comfy and eat light weight. The come in many colors as well but they have a season color this season it is blue. You can get 500-600 miles to a pair of shoes. Your running shoes say a lot about you. How dedicated you are or if you just like to run for fun.

Nike is another great brand they make great spikes for track. Nike is also considerate about people with big feet and has stores with size 14’s and 15’s in stock which is really nice.

Brooks is another type of running shoe brand. I am not very fond of them they are so uncomfortable and don’t even look that great. But some people love them it just depends on you and what you like. You just got to try them out give them a chance, be willing to try something new because you may never know what you will find and you might love it.

Running shoes cost a lot yes but you can buy them on clearance or last seasons are usually on sales. Prices range from $85 to $180 I know you may think that sounds like a ton. But if you really think about it would you rather have a good pair of shoes or crappy ones that are going to give you pain in the end? It like my mom always says it doesn’t matter how much they cost it matters if you are going to wear them and run your heart out or are they going to sit and look at you from your closet. I have 4 pairs of running shoes I have my first pair, the ones I torn my ligaments in, some yellow ones and then the ones I am running in now. I wouldn’t change have my running shoes for anything in the world they are a part of me. Everywhere I go they go we run together they keep me safe. Running shoes make a difference in your attitude about running if you have a sucky pair then you are going to hate going running. Yes running is like death but is a great way to relieve stress. The perfect pair of running shoes makes the world of difference. So go out and find the perfect pair of running shoes for you they maybe yellow or purple or pink choose whatever works for you! You won’t regret it!
