Hello Everyone,
I want to now talk about my return home. Some of you think I hate you because I don't talk to you. I don't hate you I am just adjusting to real life and it is harder than you think. I will always remember the feeling I had when I got off the plane. I was so excited to see my family. I was running and this sister was like Sister Dallon I need to go to the bathroom they waited 18 1/2 months they can wait 2 more minutes we went to the bathroom. After that I was on a dead sprint I heard my name Jill Jill I looked and I couldn't see anyone and then there was my mom and my brother. My dad was behind the tape barrier thing my mom wasn't thank goodness. Then all of the sudden my best friend came out. I hugged them all it was so good to see them and be in there arms once again and to know that I had returned with honor.
We went to lunch we made the visits we did what we did four years prior when my brother returned home. It was weird to think that within hours I would just be Jill again and I thought that day would never come. Being home was the best feeling in the world the only thing different was Clifford was gone. Man I miss Clifford. Big Blue is cool but too big for me. Clifford lost his transmission again and he was toast.
I started school and got a job all within three weeks of being home. It is crazy to see how even though my life stopped for 18 1/2 months everyones elses kept going. It is just like I left it. I am able to run and be alone. I get to sew I have missed that. I am so blessed to have served a mission but I am enjoying the post mission life.
I love being with my family and seeing my best friends. I love seeing the world. I love doing the things I love like baking, sewing, running, playing the piano, and just being me. The adjustment is weird because I was used to being with someone 24/7 now it is I do whatever I want within reason.
Good to be home adventures everyday. Living the Dream!
Until next time. Peace out Cub Scout! Keep the Faith!
